These months offer stable weather and mild climate, which is very important for a smooth journey. Likewise, in spring, you get to see numerous flora and fauna. The entire trail gets covered with different vegetation. Similarly, in autumn, Nepali people celebrate a range of festivals including the national festival called Dashain. Accommodation & Meals
Tamang Heritage Trek offers guesthouse accommodation. Guesthouses in this part of Nepal are pretty basic with limited services. The rooms are sold out on a twin-sharing basis along with a common washroom. The best thing about this accommodation is that you get to experience the lifestyle of locals. You might get services like a hot shower, etc at some guesthouses, but you may have to pay a few extra bucks.
You will get three meals a day- breakfast, lunch & dinner. The meals will be served as per the menu of the guesthouse. Tibetan and Nepali dishes are mostly found with a few Indian & Continental options. Regardless, you will have good options to choose from to dig in.
Communication & Electricity
As it is not that of a high altitude journey, you will get cellular network in most places. However, the signal can get disturbed due to the remoteness of the region. The same goes for the Wifi facility. Likewise, electricity is available in all villages. Locals here also use solar electricity most of the time. If you are carrying an electric device, then we highly suggest you pack extra batteries with you and not completely rely on charging.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is important to have during the journey in the remote areas, where there are no proper facilities of basic infrastructures. Travel insurance will let you enjoy the journey without thinking about any issues. Your travel insurance must cover things like air evacuation, hospital bills, medical bills, flight cancellation, and loss or theft of personal property. Foreigners are not allowed to get travel insurance in Nepal, therefore get one in your country and carry documents while traveling to Nepal.
