Lobuche East Peak Climbing begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From here, you follow Everest Base Camp Trekking trail and pass by Sagarmatha National Park to reach Namche Bazar. The trail then gradually ascends to Everest Base Camp via Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep. You will hike up to Kala Patthar and descend to Lobuche village. The trail further ascends to Lobuche Base Camp and moves towards Lobuche East Peak summit.

Best time to go on Lobuche East Peak Climbing

Accommodation & Meals
Lodge and camping will be the accommodation during Lobuche East Peak Climbing. Lodges are available in the villages. The lodge here has both luxurious and budget-friendly services. Usually, the lodge offers a room with a few pieces of furniture and double beds. The washroom is mostly shared. Likewise, in camping, all the tents and necessary equipment are carried by the team. You will get branded single sleeping tents and shared dining & washroom tents.
Three meals a day will be served as per the menu of the lodge. Dishes like dal bhat, veggies, curries, egg, meat, porridge, soup, pudding, bread, momo, pasta, sandwich, etc are available for meals. During camping, the meals will be cooked by the trained team members.
Communication & Electricity
During Lobuche East Peak Climbing, you can find both hydropower and solar electricity in the villages to charge your devices. Likewise, many villages offer WiFi service, however due to high altitude the connection might not be strong all the time. Similarly, the cellular network is also available from time to time. Relying on these things will only ruin the trip. The team leader will carry a satellite phone with him to connect with the management office during the climbing period.
Travel Insurance
To join Lobuche East Peak Climbing, you have to show travel insurance that covers airlift, medical bills, hospital bills, and flight cancellation. As it is a remote and high altitude journey, the circumstances and weather cannot be predicted. Getting travel insurance while traveling in isolated parts is crucial for your safety.
